HOTLAP

HOTLAP is the UK-based duo of CHRIS MEARS and JORIS MUR, bringing over 15 years of combined experience in music production and songwriting. Their sound blends AFRO HOUSE, BERLIN MINIMAL, MELODIC HOUSE, and TECHNO, creating emotional yet club-driven performances. Despite launching the project in late 2024, HOTLAP has quickly gained support from leading names including ADRIATIQUE, CAMELPHAT, CARLITA, FIDELES, CRISTOPH, and ELI & FUR. Before founding HOTLAP, the duo built an impressive songwriting portfolio, with credits for artists including MEDUZA, TIËSTO, VINTAGE CULTURE, GOODBOYS, IMANBEK, and ALOK. Following a successful debut European tour across TURKEY, MOROCCO, BELGIUM, and the UK, HOTLAP continues to establish itself as one of the most promising names in the new generation of melodic electronic music.
